ABOUT EMMANUEL FELLOWSHIP
DEEP WITHIN THE HEART OF EMMANUEL FELLOWSHIP LIES A PASSION TO SEE OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN TRANSFORM EVERY LIFE INTO ONE OF A SON OR DAUGHTER.
With a dream and direction, Pastor Walter and Gladys Hillsman in 1982 started Emmanuel Fellowship. Then, the heart of the church was to allow God’s Word and His love to touch and transform the lives of people. With great passion to see lives change, Pastor Walter and Gladys built a church that rescued, restored and released the hearts of people. Today the dream is still the same.
Our dream is all about touching lives. A dream that is deep within the heart of Emmanuel Fellowship that will touch our church, our community, and our country. The dream to see our culture transformed by changing lives, restoring families and helping every person fulfilled their destiny. A dream the will reach and empower generations through rescuing, restoring, and releasing the hearts of people. Throughout the years, Emmanuel Fellowship has seen this dream fulfilled in many different ways and it continues today.

MISSION
TRANSFORMING OUR CULTURE THROUGH THE 3 R’S
Rescuing – Capture and liberate the hearts of people through God’s Word for the purpose of bringing dignity and honor to their lives.
Restoring – Equip the hearts of people to receive the love of Christ and help establish relationship with the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Releasing – Commission God’s people to fulfill His purpose for their lives and empower them through the Father’s blessing to go and transform our community.
CORE VALUES
These Core Values govern our personal relationships, clarify who we are, guide us on how we teach, and guide us in making decisions. They underpin our whole organization and require no external justification.
Integrity – is choosing the high road of honesty with God and others. It is the outward actions of an inward wholeness bearing the fruit of confidence and freedom which is evident in our relationships through our words, our ways, and our attitudes.
Character – is a discipline of man’s moral personality transforming us from the inside out through the power and working of the Holy Spirit, producing the fruits of the Spirit in our lives – faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness and love.
Word of God – is our foundation and when it applied, it produces salvation and abundant life. For the Word is active and alive showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way, evident through a personal intimate relationship with Christ who is the Word.
Worship – is who we are and the way we live expressed through our attitudes and actions, driven by a passionate desire for the presence of Jesus by embracing the Spirit and being rooted in truth.
Discipleship – is the lifestyle of being a student of the word, submissively following the authority of other mature Christians, so that they may help to build lives obedient to the principles of the cross, (self-denial), which heals, delivers and makes us whole and holy.
Prayer – is our connection and communication with God, (both verbal and non-verbal), aligning our wants with His will. Finding God’s heart and agreeing with Him in faith so that His purpose can be done in this house of prayer.
Family – is the foundation upon which every relationship, both spiritual and natural, is built upon. Developing a healthy community, that lives right with God and works hard at getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity, honor and love.
Servant Life – is the action, attitude and lifestyle of esteeming others higher than oneself. Evident in generous attitudes followed by generous actions: live to please God and do his will and not please self, humbly serving others in obedience to God.
